Felipe Vilas Boas

lead attorney

Felipe Vilas Boas, attorney OAB/SP 175.131

Registered with the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Chapter (OAB/SP), under No. 175.131, graduated in 1996 from the São Bernardo do Campo School of Law, SP, with postgraduate specializations in Civil Procedure and in Family and Succession Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and in Negotiation and Contract Drafting from the FGV São Paulo Law School. His career spans three decades of advisory and litigation practice in civil matters, with predominant experience before the São Paulo Court of Appeals.

This path includes twenty-five years working under the partnership between the OAB/SP and the São Paulo State Public Defender’s Office — an experience that provided extensive exposure to family, succession and civil law cases, handled from initial intake through to final decision.

The dedication to those who live outside Brazil has personal roots: part of the lawyer’s family has lived in Europe for more than ten years. Following closely the legal questions of those who divide their lives between two countries showed how distance can turn ordinary legal matters into real challenges.
